Manufacturing Process

SoundSentry Music supports OEM and ODM projects for guitar pickups, wireless instrument systems, guitar amplifiers and guitar effects products. Our production operation is based in Danshui, Huizhou, Guangdong, with approximately 4,000 square meters of operating space and a team of about 50 people.

The workflow below explains how a typical project moves from product definition to sample approval, production, inspection and delivery. Exact steps depend on the selected model, customization scope, required documentation and order quantity.

1. Requirement and Market Review

The process begins with the target product, market and commercial requirements. Buyers should identify the reference model, destination country, expected quantity, target timing and required OEM or ODM work.

  • Product category and reference configuration
  • Required and optional functions
  • Target market and sales channel
  • Logo, color, control-label and packaging needs
  • Certification-document requirements
  • Sample and production quantity

Use our OEM guitar electronics RFQ checklist to organize the initial inquiry.

2. Specification and Quotation Confirmation

Technical and commercial information is reviewed before a quotation is finalized. The agreed specification should identify functions, connections, power or charging, accessories, appearance, packaging and required documentation.

MOQ and timing are confirmed according to the model and customization scope. A logo-only project may follow a different schedule from a new color, printed package, electronic change or new structure.

3. Sample Preparation

A representative sample is prepared for evaluation. The buyer should test the functions that matter to the intended market rather than relying only on a product description.

  • Sound, output, controls and noise
  • Wireless pairing, latency and range where applicable
  • Power, charging and battery behavior
  • Mechanical fit, connectors and mounting parts
  • Logo, labels, finish and color
  • Accessories, instructions and packaging

Changes should be recorded clearly before the sample is approved. Learn more from our OEM/ODM process.

4. Material and Component Preparation

After approval and order confirmation, the required components, enclosures, packaging and customer artwork are prepared. Incoming items are checked according to the model and project requirements.

Key electronic parts, connectors, switches, controls, rechargeable-power components, mounting parts and visible materials require attention because changes can affect function, consistency and appearance.

5. Electronic Assembly and Configuration

Electronic products may include PCB assembly, cable preparation, connector installation, control assembly and model-specific software or firmware configuration. The actual sequence depends on the product architecture.

Any approved firmware, preset, app, wireless or user-interface version should be identified in the order record where relevant.

6. Mechanical Assembly and Appearance Control

Enclosures, panels, knobs, switches, grilles, mounting hardware and product labels are assembled and checked. Private-label projects also require confirmation of logo position, model marking, control text, color and surface finish.

7. In-Process Functional Checks

Checks are performed at appropriate production stages to identify issues before final packaging. The checklist can include power, charging, audio signal, controls, indicators, connections, pairing and selected model functions.

Function, appearance, sound and packaging checks should be tied to the approved product configuration.

8. Final Inspection

Final inspection compares finished units with the approved specification and sample. Depending on the product and order, inspection points can include:

  • Function and operating controls
  • Audio output and abnormal noise
  • Charging, power and indicators
  • Wireless operation where applicable
  • Appearance, labels and assembly
  • Accessories and documentation
  • Retail packaging and shipping marks

See the full quality-control process for buyer approval points.

9. Packaging and Shipment Preparation

Approved products are packed with the agreed accessories, manuals, labels and retail packaging. Master-carton configuration, shipping marks and delivery documentation are confirmed before shipment.

Certification Documentation

SoundSentry Music electronic products have CE and 3C certification support. Applicability must be confirmed for the exact model, configuration and destination market. Review our electronic product certification page.
